My name is Ashley Richard Hawley, and I am a 2nd generation Realtor, working in New Orleans and on the Northshore. I’ve been in the real estate industry for the past 13+ years, gaining extensive experience in the real estate world, and the following is a bit about my professional background: I worked at Title Stream’s New Orleans Uptown office, learning the ins and outs of title work, everything that happens in the background between a contract and a closing, what it takes to get deals to close, and close on time! I worked in a model home for DSLD Homes, once of the largest new-home builders in the Gulf South, which is where I originally learned how to present houses to potential buyers, and (my favorite part) assisting buyers in choosing colors, flooring, cabinets, etc to take a floor plan and turn it into their dream home. For the past 10 years, I have had the privilege of working closely with a Real Estate Investor who is a builder, and specializes in historic renovations in New Orleans. We’ve drastically increased his Real Estate Portfolio, and I’ve learned so much bout the investing and flipping side of this business through my experience with him. This gives me an upper hand in dealing with clients who are investors or are looking to flip properties, or keep them as long or short term rentals. I also own several rental properties, which I personally manage. All of this combined, gives me a competitive edge in representing you as your Realtor. I’m qualified to advise you on investment properties, rentals, and properties to flip for profit. I also love working with buyers and sellers who are simply ready to move on to the next chapter, searching for their dream house, and looking forward to the opportunity to call it home.
My mother has been a Realtor since 1998, and has graciously become by mentor. The knowledge I have been able to gain from working with her is absolutely invaluable. I have learned so much from her 25+ years of experience selling real estate in Slidell, and I’m so grateful for everything she has taught me about this market and doing business the RIGHT way. We value our clients as friends, and she has taught me to treat each transaction as if we’re representing family in one of the biggest decisions they’ll ever make. It’s our job to show our clients the things they may not notice, and use our expertise to point out features that should concern them, even if it leads to deals falling through and starting over from scratch. I don’t focus on commission or my own profits, but getting my clients to the closing table as smoothly and stress-free as possible. This is how clients become repeat clients, this is how referrals are gained from hearing their positive experience, and this is how I am able to call my clients friends.
